Energy Medicine

Resonating with the presence of African, Bajan/Barbadian and Native American ancestry within her, this woman of color invites you to further your journey. Margaret was unaware until his passing that her paternal grandfather held quietly within him a pathway to energy lines, ancestral wisdom and sacred medicine. Once recognized, she made a commitment to honor both the blessing and the responsibility of the gift that flowed to her as he was crossing over. She committed to doing the work which lives within her bones.

The subsequent, persistent demand for Margaret to surrender to a path of exploration, development and integrity has been instrumental in the evolution of Well Part Coaching LLC. Revelations were afforded and doorways were opened through “giving voice” amidst a circle of women in a tipi at a “Return to the Sacred Feminine” retreat in the red rocks of Arizona, an experience with Peruvian Whistling Vessels in the hills of Virginia, an African Dagara Mineral Ritual within a hillside of Maryland, profound experiential teachings from a sisterly Native American Shaman trained in South American healing, a path-affirming “Ever Naming Ceremony” led by a Native American Medicine Man, a powerful ancestral ceremony along the ocean waters of Barbados, a phenomenal “Bare Bones Retreat” facilitated by a Native American Shaman just outside of Sedona, a Cowry Shell Divinaiton conducted by an African Shaman and the words spoken through a man of wisdom while visiting Cherokee, NC. These sacred lessons along with many other moments of Divine inspiration have been an honor for Margaret. She has aligned with the energetic genealogy of her body, mind and spirit.

Beyond training as an Usui System of Natural Healing Reiki Master Teacher, Margaret apprenticed in energy medicine and subsequently completed Core Shamanic Training with the Healing Drummer, Toby Christensen. Intentional personal work and professional study with various energy-based and/or shamanic practitioners provides the uniquely qualified foundation for Margaret’s energy alignment facilitation. Through customized energy work, Margaret functions within the protection of sacred space as “an energetic vessel who facilitates healing through a window to the soul”.

Doing “the work” with others … requires a willingness to do “the work” oneself.

Coaching

Originally a marriage and family therapist, Margaret gained extensive experience in multiple aspects of training, management consultation, team leadership and program directorship.   In her ongoing quest to expand understanding and Divine expression, the desire and capacity to work with clients towards the fulfillment of life and business transformation goals became clear.  Mindful reflection yielded the intention to focus on the purposeful action of coaching for personal and organizational wellness.

With over 20 years of combined experience, Margaret is an organization development, (OD), training, process facilitation and coaching specialist who historically has focused on the promotion and integration of organizational, community and personal wellness.   A unique blend of traditional and non-traditional training has provided Margaret with a mosaic of practices to support organizational enhancement, leadership development, team empowerment and work-life balance.
